This week I participated in an interview about how local government issues connect with people where we can do the most good for our communities. In this formate Patrick McCormick and I are able to discuss some of the most important issues La Plata faces today.
I hope you can take a few minutes to hear what Patrick and I have to say and how our views have been shaped and informed by our engagement with residents in La Plata during this election cycle.
If you want to give La Plata’s next Town Council the best chance to solve our most important issues, please vote for:
Myself Paul Guttenberg in Ward I
Patrick McCormick in Ward II and
Tyjon “TJ” Johnson in Ward IV
In La Plata’s council form of government, if elected with these 3 votes we will carry the majority in the 5 person Town Council on critical issues and can move with purpose to address the concerns you care about.
To make this happen WE RELY ON YOUR VOTE this coming Tuesday May 6th, @ Town Hall, 7AM - 8PM.
For Better Town Government We Must Increase La Plata’s Voter Turn-out For Our Local Elections
Please Vote on May 6th. You can find contact and candidate information for all the general election candidates on the town website. Please also share this information with your friends and family, and encourage them to vote.
Many candidates are also active on Facebook especially within the La Plata Community Group.

I ask that you vote for me as your Town Council representative from Ward I.
More than anything I hope you take the time to vote, and that you encourage others to do the same. When residents vote in larger numbers, it increases the emphasis for elected town leaders to engage and respond to concerns expressed by the public.
Thank you.
Respectfully,
Paul Guttenberg, Candidate for La Plata Town Council Ward I
